Youth Ministry

A2J is the name of our youth group and it stands for ADDICTED 2 JESUS! We want to see each student to become everything God wants them to be! To help this become reality, we have three central values that drive everything we do: faith, family and fun. It’s a place where friendships are developed with God as the foundation! Our goal is to develop passionate followers of Christ while keeping a healthy balance between fun and spiritual discipleship.

PCSO Chaplain Pinal County

The PCSO Chaplain Program is comprised of a team of clergy who provide emotional and spiritual support for PCSO deputies, employees and volunteers and victims of crime, survivors and witnesses. Chaplains provide death notification, referrals to agencies, crisis response and grief and loss support. They are on call throughout Pinal County. This unit provides Agency Assistance for other Law Enforcement Organizations.

Pastor Larry is the Chaplin Coordinator for the Pinal County Sheriff’s office.

Restorative Justice Panel for Pinal County

The Restorative Justice Panels are located throughout the county and involve individual community members, agencies, police, schools, organizations, religious communities and businesses. Together, court personnel and panel members hold offenders personally responsible for their actions and then actively work to repair the harm they caused to victims and the community. Panels meet at various times throughout the month as caseloads develop.

Pastor Larry volunteers for the Juvenile Restorative Justice Panel for Pinal County.

Florence, Arizona Prison Ministries

New Life Ministries provides the spiritual needs of inmates through ministry that includes evangelism, teaching and discipleship. We minister to approximately 500 men per week along with the Juvenile Justice Center.

Matthew 28:18-20 is known as the Great Commission. This commission reads “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me, Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The MAKE DISCIPLES of verse 19 is called DISCIPLESHIP:
Discipleship is the ongoing process of teaching and training believers to grow in their faith, commitment, and service for the Lord Jesus Christ. The HEART of the Great Commission is to make disciples for Christ!

We consider it not only our responsibility to disciple our Brothers & Sisters in Christ, but also our privilege!  Will you prayerfully consider joining our team and help fulfill this commission?
